Terms and Conditions Policy for In Person Events for Highly Elevated LLC

1. Booking & Agreement
A booking is confirmed once payment is received and written confirmation is provided.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
These terms apply to all participants without exception.

2. Nature of In-Person Experiences
Highly Elevated LLC in-person experiences may include, but are not limited to: group gatherings, educational sessions, embodied movement or somatic practices, integration or reflective work, shared spaces or group activities.

Specific details of each event may vary and are subject to change at any time.
Participants acknowledge that these experiences are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatment, and that they are responsible for their own participation, wellbeing, and boundaries throughout the experience.

3. Program Modifications & Group Size
Highly Elevated LLC reserves the right to modify event details as needed, including but not limited to: schedule, location, lodging arrangements, group size, facilitators or activities.
These modifications may occur due to logistical, safety, or practical considerations and do not constitute grounds for a refund.

4. Payment & Refund Policy
Due to advance planning, committed costs, and the nature of in-person events: All payments are non-refundable. Payments secure your place and contribute to logistical and operational costs incurred in advance.

If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your spot to another individual, subject to approval. If a suitable replacement is found, payment may be transferred. If no replacement is found, payments remain non-refundable.

At the discretion of Alyssa Martin / Highly Elevated LLC, payments may be applied as a credit toward a future in-person or virtual offering within twelve (12) months.
Credits are not guaranteed.

5. Program Dismissal
Alyssa Martin / Highly Elevated LLC reserves the right to dismiss any participant whose behavior:disrupts the group, violates boundaries or agreements, compromises the safety or integrity of the container, involves active contagious illness.

Dismissal will occur without refund.

6. Travel Insurance (Strongly Recommended)
Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for: Trip cancellation or interruption, Travel delays, Medical expenses, Emergency evacuation.
A “Cancel for Any Reason” policy is highly recommended.
The host is not responsible for losses related to travel disruptions, illness, or personal circumstances.

7. Medical Responsibility & Emergency Care
Participants are responsible for determining their own physical, mental, and emotional fitness to attend.
In the event of a medical emergency, participants authorize the host to secure necessary care. Any expenses incurred are the sole responsibility of the participant.
The host may contact the emergency contact provided if needed.

8. Acceptance of Risk
Participants acknowledge that travel, group experiences, and embodied practices carry inherent risks.
By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with the experience and release the host from claims arising from these risks.

9. Liability Limitation
The host is not liable for: personal injury, illness, or loss, acts of third parties, force majeure events (weather, travel disruptions, acts of nature), loss or damage to personal belongings.

Liability is limited to the total amount paid for the experience.

10. Participant Responsibility & Conduct
Participants agree to: respect group agreements and shared space, comply with all applicable laws, take responsibility for any damage caused to accommodations or property. Any costs incurred due to damages or violations are the participant’s responsibility.

11. Flexibility & Changes
Participants acknowledge that schedules, locations, or activities may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
No refunds will be issued for reasonable program adjustments.

12. Travel Documents: Clients must have valid passports and required documents. Vaccinations are the client's responsibility.

13. Claims and Complaints: Clients must promptly report complaints to Alyssa Martin to address them. Alyssa Martin is not liable for unreported complaints.


14. Media Release
By participating, you grant permission for photographs, audio, or video recordings taken during the experience to be used by the host for educational or promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be recorded, you must notify the host in writing prior to the event. Disputes will be under Indiana laws and litigated in Queen Anne County, Maryland, USA.

15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA
Any disputes will be resolved in Queen Anne County, Maryland, USA.

16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Broad terms will be interpreted narrowly.

17. Contract Parties:
These terms benefit and bind both Alyssa Martin and the client, their heirs, representatives, successors, and assigns.

18. Electronic Agreement
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions electronically. No physical signature is required.
